How GAG Calc estimates pet token value
Each pet has a weight → token anchor table. We linearly interpolate between anchors, then apply two modifiers:
- Weight — only input that affects the underlying token amount. Curve is nearly flat in the low/mid range and exponential at the top.
- Mutation multiplier — 1.0 (none) up to 5.0 (Ascended).
- Demand factor — user-adjustable market signal (0.5×–2×).

How is pet trade value calculated?
tokens(weight) = interpolate(datapoints, weight) × mutation × demand. Modern community calculators (game.guide, tradekitsune, growagardencalculator) all use weight only — age is irrelevant at trade time.
What are Trade Tokens?
Trade Tokens are the standard currency of the in-game Trade World (introduced in 2025). They are separate from Sheckles — there is no fixed conversion. We display tokens directly, the same way community sites do.
Does pet weight matter?
It is the ONLY input that matters at trade time. The token curve is nearly flat for the first 55% of max weight then explodes exponentially at the top end — e.g. Disco Bee jumps from 400 tokens at 61kg to 120,000 tokens at 114kg.
What is the Ascended pet mutation?
Ascended is the rarest pet mutation (0.32% chance from the Mutation Machine), worth roughly 5× the token value of an unmutated pet.
