Grow a Garden Stock & Restock Timer
Live restock countdown for Grow a Garden and Grow a Garden 2. Seed, gear and crate shops restock every 5 minutes; the GAG 1 egg shop every 30. Every server in the game flips at the same instant, so the number below is the same one everyone else is watching.
Want to know what a seed is worth once it grows? Use the Grow a Garden calculator or the Grow a Garden 2 calculator.
GAG 2 shops
The main seed rotation. Confirmed from the restock module used by live GAG 2 trackers and verified against a live countdown.
Shares the same restock function as the seed shop, so it always flips at the same instant.
Prop crates rotate on the same 5-minute grid. New to GAG 2 — the original game has no equivalent shop.
GAG 1 shops
Unchanged from launch. Five minutes, aligned to the clock, identical on every server.
Fires together with the seed shop.
Half-hourly, on the UTC hour and half-hour. Live-measured landing exactly on 00:30:00.000 UTC.
Counted from your own device clock against the UTC restock grid — no server call, so it works even if this page is cached. If your clock is not synced to network time, every number above is off by the same amount.
How the Grow a Garden restock cycle works
Restocks are not server state. Each shop fires on a plain function of the clock — the cycle length divides evenly into an hour, and the phase offset is zero. That is why this page needs no live data feed: a browser with a correct clock can work out the next restock for every server in the game on its own.
nextRestock = (floor(epochSeconds / interval) + 1) × intervalWith interval = 300 for seed, gear and crate shops, and 1800 for GAG 1 eggs. Because the Unix epoch starts on a whole UTC minute, this is identical to saying “the next :00, :05, :10 … mark in UTC”.
You may see a 12:45:00 anchor quoted elsewhere. That is a red herring — 45 is a multiple of 5, so 12:45 is one of the twelve ordinary boundaries in any hour. There is no special offset to memorise.
It is global, not per-server
Because the cycle is computed from wall-clock time rather than server state, every server restocks at the same instant. Hopping servers to force an early restock does nothing.
Joining a server does not reset it
There is no per-player or per-session timer. The countdown you see is the same one everyone else sees.
There is no drift
The cycle is plain modulo arithmetic on the clock, so it cannot slowly fall out of sync the way a server-side interval could.
Your device clock is the only failure point
This timer reads your own computer or phone clock. If that clock is wrong — not synced to network time — the countdown will be wrong by exactly the same amount. Nothing else on this page can drift.
Shops we deliberately do not time
Other trackers show countdowns for these. We do not, because the interval is disputed or the shop may not exist — and a confident wrong countdown is worse than none.
- GAG 2 Egg Shop — Multiple sources say GAG 2 removed the egg shop entirely — eggs come from guild rewards, the Auction Stand, Admin Chests and Cornucopia Quests, with no purchasable restock. One tracker still lists a 30-minute egg cycle but tags its own entry "unverified". We show no countdown rather than invent one.
- Cosmetics Shop — Sources disagree outright. One live tracker measures a 1-hour cycle for what it buckets as "Cosmetics"; written guides state the Isaac cosmetics shop is on 4 hours. These may be two different in-game shops sharing a name. Until that is resolved, no countdown.
- Event shops and Daily Deals — Event cadence changes per event, and "Restock Fever" events can temporarily alter both cadence and odds. A fixed countdown would be wrong precisely when it matters.
Grow a Garden 2 seed stock chances — all 57
The odds a given seed appears in any single restock. Common seeds are guaranteed; from Bamboo down it falls away fast. These figures are data-mined rather than published by the developers, but two independent sources agree on them to the decimal.

Grow a Garden seed shop — always vs rotating
In the original game, prices never change — only availability does. These seeds are on the shelf every single restock, so there is no reason to camp the timer for them.

How these intervals were verified
Restock intervals are not published by the developers, so they have to be measured. Each interval on this page was established two ways: by reading the restock module that live stock trackers actually run in the browser, and by capturing a third-party countdown against this machine's own UTC clock at the same instant to confirm the phase.
Both checks landed on a whole 5-minute UTC boundary — 00:10:00.000 — from two different starting times, which is what fixes the offset at exactly zero rather than some arbitrary anchor. The GAG 1 egg shop was measured the same way and landed on 00:30:00.000.
Roblox can change any of these constants in a patch without notice, and Restock Fever events can temporarily alter both cadence and odds. If the countdown here ever drifts from what you see in game, that is the likeliest cause — after your own device clock.
